Carving/Etching & Lettering
Flat Carving
Traditional sandblasted carving or frosted design and lettering that is single dimensional. Lettering is sunk into or frosted. Examples with sandblast sunk letters

Shape or Complex Carving
The carved design has the appearance of shape and two dimensions. The shape can protrude from or into the surface.

Sculpture (3 Dimensional) Carving
The item or figure is sandblasted and hand carved into a three dimensional sculpture.

Etching
The design, scene or personal picture is impact, laser or hand etched into the surface of the stone. Lettering can be etched, frosted or shallow sunk (skincut) so no panels are required on dark stones preserving the polished surfaces.

Lettering Styles
A wide array of fonts, alphabets and lettering styles are available. Lettering style is largely dependent on the color of the stone chosen. Popular examples are shown
